1. The Service

KOBI is entertainment content. Based on details such as a date of birth, it shows a character and a personality reading inspired by personality traditions from several cultures.

Results are not scientific, medical, psychological or legal diagnosis or advice, and must not be relied on for important decisions.

The Service offers free results, paid detailed results (individual and compatibility), saving a result by email, share cards and recovery of purchased results. On the web you use it without an account, and results are opened with their own unique link.

The KOBI mobile app is planned to offer an app member service: you sign in to a member account to use personal features such as linking your own result. The service (section 4) applies from the day a version of the app with member sign-in is released and is not offered before then. The AI conversation is a feature that is switched on separately from it and cannot be used until it is offered.

If the AI conversation is offered, its replies are generated by artificial intelligence, may be inaccurate, and are not professional diagnosis, counselling or advice of a medical, psychological, legal or any other kind.

2. Age requirements

The Service is intended for people aged 16 or older. People under 16 may not use the Service, and there is no way to use it with a legal guardian's consent.

Paid detailed results can currently be purchased only by people aged 19 or older. If the app offers a member-to-member meeting feature, that feature will also be limited to people aged 19 or older.

You confirm these ages yourself when you request an analysis (in the app, when you start) and when you pay. For this the Company does not collect ID, identity verification or your country. Whether you are 16 or older is decided only by your own confirmation, never from the date of birth entered for an analysis, which may belong to someone else. The one exception: for features limited to people aged 19 or older, the date of birth of the result an app member links as their own is used, only to check that age (section 13 of the Privacy Policy).

3. Information you enter

Only enter information that is yours or that you are authorized to provide. To enter another person's details (for example for a compatibility reading) you must have the authority to do so, such as that person's agreement, and you are responsible for it.

Do not enter other people's details without authorization, and do not use the Service to harass or discriminate against anyone.

4. App member accounts

This section applies from the day a version of the KOBI mobile app with member sign-in is released. The web service stays available without an account.

The member features of the app use an account that you create and sign in to with an emailed code, Google, Apple or Kakao. The same verified email address is one account, whichever sign-in method you use.

Keep your account and sign-in methods to yourself; do not share them or hand them over.

Only the account that made a result while signed in (or that saved a result made in the app without signing in by using a one-time confirmation value, with "Save to my account") owns it. Knowing a result's address, receiving a share link, buying the result or verifying an email address does not make you the owner, and only the owner can delete a result permanently. A purchase gives only the right to open the paid content. If you save a result that someone else made to your list, you can only view it there and remove it.

Signing out ends the sign-in on that device only. Deactivating your account keeps your data, signs you out everywhere, and can be undone by signing in again. Deleting your account cannot be undone: your account information is deleted, including every result you own (detailed results you bought included), which can no longer be opened. A result that someone else owns is not deleted and only disappears from your list, and signing up again with the same email does not bring back past results or access rights. You can delete in the app settings or, without the app, at mykobi.io/account-deletion, which opens together with the app member service (the address cannot be used before then).

How member information is processed, what is deleted and which records the law requires us to keep are in sections 12 to 14 of the Privacy Policy.

5. Result links and sharing

Anyone who has a result's unique link can open it. Please do not post links publicly. Knowing a link or receiving a share link does not, however, give you the right to delete that result permanently or to manage it.

Share cards contain only the character and a short trait summary, never dates or times of birth, places of birth, names or paid content. Share links stay available for 2 years from when they are issued; email support@jebub.com with the original result link to have a share withdrawn.

6. Paid detailed results

Paid detailed results cost KRW 2,900 (individual) and KRW 4,900 (compatibility) when paid in Korean won by domestic payment (VAT included), or USD 2.99 (individual) and USD 4.99 (compatibility) when paid in US dollars with PayPal. You choose one of the two at checkout. Each is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. A paid result is delivered as soon as the payment is confirmed and can be opened for 12 months from payment confirmation, or until the Company confirms a full refund if that comes first. Payment, delivery, withdrawal and refunds are governed by the Payment and Refund Policy.

When you pay you confirm, separately from being 19 or older, that delivery starts as soon as the payment is complete and that withdrawal may be restricted once it has started. This does not limit your statutory rights, for example if the content is not delivered, is defective or differs from what was shown.

If a person under 19 pays without the consent of a legal guardian, that person or the guardian may be able to cancel the contract under applicable law.

7. Prohibited use

Calling the Service in bulk by automated means or disrupting its operation
Attempting to bypass payment, verification or access restrictions
Commercial use of results or character images without the Company's consent
Anything that breaks the law or infringes other people's rights

The Company may restrict use where it finds such conduct.

8. Intellectual property

Rights in the Service, its characters, text and design belong to the Company or their rightful owners. You may view and share your results for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Changes

The Company may improve or change the Service. If these Terms change, the new effective date and the changes are posted on this page before they take effect. Changes that are unfavourable to users are announced within the notice periods required by applicable law.

10. Limitation of liability

Results are entertainment readings. To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for decisions you make based on them, except for damage caused by the Company's intent or gross negligence.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes relating to the Service are resolved by the court with jurisdiction under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits consumer or privacy protections that the law of the country or region where you live gives you and that cannot be waived by contract.
